New Blog and Great Giveaway

I found a great blog with a great giveaway! Mrs. Stanford's Class is new to blogging and trying to reach that 100 follower mark! Go check her out and enter her giveaway...$20 to your favorite DonorsChoose project.
She is the Donorschoose project queen. I just LOVE her listening center! I emailed her with questions and she has been so sweet in helping me get started on Donorschoose! Make sure you go follow her!

In other news... I have 16 days left. Yep...you read right...16!!!! We have a lot going on right now:
Field trip, college trip, Kindergarten Program, Field Day, Talent Show, 100% Math Reward, AR reward, MAP testing (guess I should have put that first since it is most important). So...we are busy, busy, busy. I am enjoying my last few weeks with these babies! They are PRECIOUS. I just love this class!!

It's A Sale

In celebration of Tax Day (don't you just love it?), I am joining others and throwing a sale in my TPT store!

Just click here to go to my store and grab what little I have. I swear...as soon as I get the time that is on my list of things to do. I have TONS of units I want to create but here is what has to come first:
-Prepare for our Kindergarten program - I write the script every year and do the powerpoints and the music....
-Finish up the decorations and party favors for my teaching partner's baby shower I am throwing on Thursday - EEK!
-plan my daughter's 3rd birthday party - Pajama and Pancakes (I'm kind-of crazy when it comes to birthday parties. I do handmade party favors (think homemade monogrammed pillow cases), decorations, etc. It's really silly because she doesn't care, but I can't help it).
-Keep this house clean for the showings that we have weekly (and still can't sell it).

So...I'll get to them promise! In the meantime, enjoy the sale!

Nothing Sweeter

This past week we did our Kindergarten Assessments for all incoming kindergarten students. I always forget how sweet those little preschoolers are before they come to kindergarten. As the students come in for the assessment, they come to me first. I play a "little game" using bean bags that have the capital letters on one side and lowercase on the other. The little "t" on the beanbag has the curved bottom and it always stumps them. I try to cover up the little hook and say "what does this look like now" and for some reason...this year...I have almost 8 kiddos say "A cross". Okay. I think it is SO sweet that those students know about the cross! They won my heart each time.
They also had to sing their ABC's to me. Seriously. Is there anything sweet than a 4 or 5 year old belting out their ABC's solo in a huge gym where their voice echos. It melted my heart! I just love them! It always makes me excited for a new year. I can start looking at next year because I only have 22 days left of school....just sayin'.
