Trash = Treasure

So I've been to my room twice this week and feel like I've accomplished...well nothing! As I was being nosey checking out other rooms, I found these lovelies in the hall.

Can you believe someone would get rid of those? Well...one mans trash is another mans treasure, right? I have NO IDEA what I'm going to do with it, but I'll figure it out I'm sure!

I did a little a lot of laminating over the past 2 days. I love my little Scotch laminator.

That is my Reading Around the Rainbow Unit that I am going to put up on my word wall.

So we have 2 weeks until today before our Home Visit Blitz. This is the 2nd year in our district where the entire district goes and visits each student in our class at their home. School begins on the 8th. I start the 6th. I have about 3-4 days where I can work in the room. EEK!!!!! I LOVE my job but get SO sad when I have to go back. I miss my little one so bad and we both have a hard time adjusting after the summer break! :(

  1. I love your blog! It's really cute! The pink, green, and grey combo is one of my favorites!

    Finding someone's trash that you can reuse definitely makes my day too!

    Hoping your transition from summertime SAHM to going back to school goes smoothly! I always hate that part of it! It never gets easier!

  2. As soon as I saw what someone was throwing away, the baby started moving! I guess we were both thinking they were crazy, but super lucky for you! Those are awesome!

  5. I know what you mean about it being an adjustment going to back to school when you have a little one. My little man is 2 and I have already thought its going to be a big adjustment when he goes back to daycare in a few weeks after being home with mommy all summer long and being spoiled by our family!

  6. Quick question. Do you always laminate than cut? I am about to embark in a 350 page project of cutting and laminating project that I am not looking forward to.
